Gavin – Radiance BTC
Gavin – Radiance BTC is a monumental steel and light sculpture that extends the figure into a distributed condition, where material structure and immaterial systems converge. A luminous core remains central—functioning as both beacon and signal—while activating the surrounding form as a network of interdependent relationships.
The intricate steel framework reflects the interconnected and resilient nature of decentralized systems, with each line suggesting pathways of exchange rather than fixed boundaries. Light plays a structural role, moving through and beyond the figure—casting shifting patterns that transform the work from a contained object into an expanded field.
Drawing on the architecture of the Bitcoin network, the sculpture engages a model of value sustained through continuous exchange, verification, and collective belief. Within this condition, the figure shifts from a singular presence to a node—held within a system that remains invisible, yet continuously active.
