Gavin #11 – Emergence continues the GAVIN series, where each figure exists as a variation within the same condition. Here, the structure shifts. Fabricated in stainless steel and built without an internal frame, the figure holds itself entirely through its own network—each line dependent on another.
The work moves away from construction and toward alignment. Form is not imposed; it arrives through relationship. Balance is found, not forced. Each connection carries weight, and meaning is held within the tension between points.
The figure opens—less defined by mass, more by space. Light moves through and across it, becoming part of the structure itself. The surface does not contain the form; it allows it to exist.
