Indigo Dreams is rooted in my interest in the figure as a site of awareness—present, yet never fully defined. The work moves within a space that sits between memory and dream, where perception softens and images surface without fully resolving.
I approach each painting through a slow accumulation of indigo, built in translucent layers that create depth over time. Within this field, presence is not fixed; it emerges, shifts, and recedes. The figure remains suspended, held in a state of quiet transition.
At its core, the work engages the instability of perception and the impermanence of the human condition. Each painting holds a moment of awareness—something felt rather than seen, unfolding within a space that continues to deepen and dissolve.

Indigo Dreams is a series of paintings built through layered translucent dye and resin, creating depth that unfolds over time. The figure appears and recedes within an indigo field, resisting fixed form. A recurring seated presence offers orientation without resolution, situating the work between memory and dream, where material process and perception converge.
